Doña Ana County 职员 Amanda López Askin has served since September 2018 when the Board of County Commissioners chose her to lead the 职员's Office, after the resignation of the previous County 职员. She ran successfully to keep the position in 2020.

The Office of the County 职员 keeps records such as resolutions, ordinances, deeds and marriage licenses. The office also issues several types of permits and licenses, such as permits for parties, licenses for liquor establishments, 等.

The Doña Ana County 职员’s Office also receives nominations and petitions related to elections. The office supervises and prepares ballots and voting machines and trains election workers.

The County 职员 is also responsible for serving as the 职员 of the Probate Court in handling informational proceedings only.
